Tournaments
SCYSO organizes competitive tournaments throughout the year to offer our youth leagues and team the opportunity to participate in fun and recreational activities outside their every day environment. SCYSO sponsored inter-league tournaments brings novice and select boys and girls teams throughout California to compete at various sites during the year.
The goal is to advance the level of competitive soccer within participating Hispanic leagues, teams and players. Please complete and submit with payment by the tournament registration deadline.
Youth Clinics
Through SCYSO’s Youth Clinics and Training programs, for Southern California youth leagues, teams and players to understand and improve higher technical levels, tactical applications of the game, physical stamina and mental preparation.
The goal is to prepare our youngsters at a high competitive level and or to prepare them for educational opportunities through the sport of soccer to a major university or college, the Olympic Development Program, State Select Teams or tryouts with professional teams. Coaching Clinics
SCYSO’s coaching clinics and education programs are considered the heart of the organization. Parents, coaches, and volunteers learn the basic concepts of teaching the sport. More importantly they learn a set of leadership skills that they can pass on to their youth players and parents.
Professional coaches conduct clinics throughout the Southern California to help coaches develop their skills and the skills of their players.
